I'm looking into purchasing this home theater system. Does anybody know the model or specs on it? Is it worth $125? sorry if this is the wrong section i'm not too familiar with audio equipment. Thank you for your help

This is POS HTS (Home Theater System) - It's very old system and not worth $10

p.s: "CVI output" - Component Video Interface??

Thank you for the prompt reply and saving me from wasting my money! Do you think it would be more beneficial for me to piece together my home theater system individually if I am on a bang for my buck budget (>$200). I do not mind used equipment, I just want something that can get loud enough for a party.

For $200 you options will be very limited...I would simply save and increase your budget.

Ever farther proving my point, the tiny speakers with jbl system could not play loud (cleanly) for party of 10 in small room.
Start searching for used Cerwin vega speakers and a used stereo receiver

Okay, sorry i am new to all of this. Is there a sticky or a informative post for beginners on how to put together a HT system properly? I know the receiver or amp (are they the same thing) has to have a certain wattage to power the speakers/woofer. I also know nothing about if certain brands won't work correctly with other brands and the type of wiring to hook it all up. What wattage speakers/woofer do you think I need for a party of 15 in a small-medium sized room?

Are these going to just be party speakers or will they be used for home theater use also?

Mainly parties, something loud with good bass, but i wouldn't mind being able to hook it up to my TV as well

p.s: Receiver != Amplifier. Receiver includes Pre-Amp, Amp, Audio (and possibly Video) decoders and switchers and bunch of other stuff
