Can also burn a hole in the Velcro with a soldering iron or a hot nail and use a screw/washer to fasten them to the back of your stand so that they will hug it all the way to the floor, or wherever.
Exactly what I had in mind, sorta. Minus the heat... which is a great idea!

Yes, it will seal the hole so it doesn't get fuzzy and snagged in the threads. I typically cut Velcro with a hot-knife as well, or the flat spade on soldering irons for the same reason.

The Velcro I got is thinner and finer. I'm getting antsy waiting on the new stand. I ended up just using thumbs tacks and I think it worked out pretty well.

I also started attacking the spaghetti monster, but didn't get it the way I want. I'm gonna wait until the new stand gets here and deal with it then when I have everything apart and do it from scratch.

THIS... is just ridiculous. Cox left way more cable back there than necessary. I'm gonna get a couple new coax connectors and trim this sh!t up. It's taking up a lot of space and making it hard to organize. DTV left a pile there too.

This is what it'll look like with the new stand. Well, those blocks are 3 1/2 thick, so overall the speaker will be a half inch lower.

Come on new entertainment stand!

Actually looks kinda bare now. I might have to find some more gear so it doesn't look so empty...

I gave up on the spaghetti monster and still wanted something to do.

I bought some shorter screws to put in the holes left behind from taking the feet off of my subs. the original ones are too long and stick out. I couldn't find black screws at the depot so I got some black fingernail polish and painted the ends. got it all over my hands. I would suck at painting nails. :p

Larger mains! :D
Those won't go on the stand! I need more cool looking equipment to put on it.

If I get towers I think I'm invested in SVS enough to get the Ultras. It's gonna be quite a while before I have cash for that.
