Not to be snotty, but if some cable manufacturers display such little knowledge about audio/electronic priciples, how must we believe in their products? It is the "bluff/I-am-stupid" factor that irks me more than the snake-oil content. Can the man not at least have somebody check his statements, just in the unlikely (to him) case that he might, just possibly, have something ever so tiny wrong?? This is an advertisement open to the world, not just fire-side chat with the neighbour .....
