And no its not pretty, but then again, its for your ears dummy, not your eyes!
That is one of the only reasons I have not bought one, yet.
I wish they would do the Piano Black for it.

Yeah I would have to agree... In my house when the lights are off, its no big deal what it looks like.... But in the Daylight, when Im entertaining, I have huge amounts of windows at my house, and to me everything needs to be beautiful, which is why I went with SVS, at the time... eD has a great thing going right now, and it wouldn't surprise me that in the future they start implementing custom finishes... but I would imagine that would be a big PIA for that company.

Thats why I chose to go way overboard with my DIY build, Full exterior made from solid Cherry, and granite top... Twin Boxes with 15" drivers @ 2500 watts each !! All for less then the price of 2 - SVS PB13U. I start the build next week.

Cool.
Did I see your post over at AVS a couple of days ago, about building this?

Yeah, I also had the HSU VTF-3 MK2 in Rosewood (that thing was absolutely beautiful).

OOPS, sorry to go off topic.

My vote would still be for the VTF.;)

I feel ya brother man, my towers are piano black, as is my Samsung 50". Sometimes I want to sell the Hsu and get a PB13 Ultra ($1899.00 for Piano Black).

But I vote for Hsu on your list.

I did a search, and came up with only one response over at AVS.
Strangely, it is from a new person (and by chance has the same join date, you have here).
As well, the thread just started on th 31st of last month.
Odd that you would know all about it.

One HSU sub I had the opportunity to play with (about 5 yrs. ago) had a smelly issue as though it was burning up. It was a continuous problem with that sub.

I am sure it was just a bad apple that slipped through quality control.
