Congratulations, Addy! Always fun to get new gear. Any one of those three should make a fine choice, assuming that they have all of the features that you're looking to get.

Receiver options

If you plan on keeping the Bose speakers then a receiver in the $4-500 price range should be more than adequate. The Onkyo 605 has all of the latest HDMI features and more than enough power for your cubes. You will also have $1k left over just incase you decide to upgrade the speakers.

If you want to add networking features to any receiver get a Squeeze Box 3. If is wireless and will likely work much better than the built in features on many high end receivers.

I second this reccomendation. I plain forgot about the Squeezebox.

i dont know why but i just plane out right dont like onkyo. and the problem with buying a 400-500 dollar receiver is that when i have the money to buy nice speakers ill have to upgrade my reciever...so id rather just spend it and get a over necessary receiver then too settle lol..plus power means nothing to me and if it ever did i just buy an amp

If you didn't need the HDMI features I would recommend the Yamaha RX-N600 which can be had for pretty cheap. The fact it is about the same in power as the Onkyo TX-SR605, has no preouts (like the TX-SR605), and obviously no HDMI. It has the network stuff though.

Do you also hate the Integra line?

I would suggest going onto each of these companies websites, find the models listed above, and go through, either the feature listings or the owner's manuals and read carefully what they can do, and will it suit your specific needs. You picked 3 models/receivers that pretty much are head to head (on paper anyways) competitor's, fairly within the same price range and power range, etc.

Receivers, etc.

Some of the $400 receivers are quite capable and can deliver much more power than the Bose can handle. In fact, I was using my Yamaha receiver to drive my 4 ohm Onix Ref 1's for a while.

If you buy something like the Yamaha RX-V661, you will get HDMI 1.2a audio processing and switching and it also has pre-amp outputs in the unlikely event that you want to upgrade your speakers AND buy a more powerful amp with all of the money you saved.

Another network option would be the Apple TV for storing and streaming audio, video, and photos. My friend has it and it looks pretty cool. Don't expect these kind of features (including 60 GB hard disk drive) to be built into a $1k receiver.

You can't go wrong with any of these three. I have no experience with the Pioneer but have setup a few Denon's and Yamaha's and own a Denon 3805. When I upgrade it will be the 3808 on your list. After owning my Denon for the past three years I see no reason to switch to another brand and have really enjoyed using the Denon.

Admittedly I'm a Denon fanboy so take this with a grain of salt, but I'd go with the 3808. From what I've see there's not much that can top it in that price range.

Cool. Might be overkill for your current needs but it will carry you far when you upgrade your speakers. Where did you order it from?
