What Cd players do you really like and could recommend?? I guess you can pay so much for a CD player and after that you are wasting your money, so I learned here at "audioholics". I presently have a Sony RCD-W500C, I use it mainly for recording from source, but I have a problem with it, when I play music I purchased from Rhapsody, (not store bought CDs), It sometimes will get hung up just like the old LPs would on a turn Table. now I had a yamaha CDC-697, my wife took it from me, but it never had this problem, nor does my DVD player. So should I buy another Yamaha or is there something else you people like?? I like to try new stuff!loThanks

Your Sony is a 5CD`changer with a second well for recording if I recall. If you want a changer and are using a digital connection there will be no sound difference as the cd player is being utilized for transport only. Therefore just get a brand that appeals to you. You might run a cd/dvd cleaner through it to see if that helps any. Onkyo sometimes has some good deals on refurbished changers on their web site. I also purchased a JVC maga changer for my son a while back with good results. Since you have a dvd player I'm assuming you desire the changer option.
