Newbie here so be gentle. I am thinking on getting the Martin Logan Purity speakers (they have a mono amp inside) for my new HT system and a Emotiva UMC-1 (on sale) processor but a bit confused on the amp selection. If I decide on their 5 channel (XPA-5) amp, would that be an overkill for running the center and surround speakers(4)?
I am pretty much sold on the ML, but everything else could be changed. Please feel free to criticize and advice. I got a big room (20x32) and 7k to spend (ML included, no TV, no Blue-Ray).
