Oh no, not even close, I was jut comparing the design of the two drivers as both being UniQ. But for a budget of 500.00 including a great sub, this was just another suggestion to toss out there. I would actually do a search on AVS about the Insignias and there are alot of people who were actually quite surprised at to how well these speakers sounded for the cost. My pair is sitting in the closet (because naturally they can't compare to my other speakers, ) but I bought them just to test the sound quality and I was actually quite surprised as to how well they sounded (before and after the modifications).
