Bought house with home audio system, lost

Hello all

I am new to the forum and I am new to home audio. I could not know less about it. Figured I would post here to see if anyone could help before I call someone In case this is easy.

I just bought a house and it has speakers throughout but I don’t know how to work them.

so far I have 2 units in the walls that do not turn on when you hit any buttons. Then I have 2 wires coming out of the wall, as well as these 2 hookups.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

that looks old, you’ll have to do some digging to see if the speaker’s are good. have you found a stereo unit? I’ve never liked those whole house speaker things, putting speakers in a hot Attic it’s something I wouldn’t ldo much less Electronics.

Wired systems for whole house audio are yesterday's systems. The action now belongs to wireless systems, for these hookups.
