I might be interested. My VR 2's are oak but the rest of my furniture is black or very dark, so I've been wanting darker colored speakers for a while. I don't need the center though. Plus driving to Hemet from the bay area is a bit of a trip.

Congrats. I can't believe they took that long to sell at your prices.

Did a member buy them and if so, he/she got a great deal, nice looking speakers for sure, sawz.
An AVS member bought them. A really nice couple that based on the size of his grin when he heard them will really enjoy them a lot. I know I felt like they were going to a good home. And the best part is: 1) they are finally out of the middle of my living room, and 2) I'm now half way toward saving for a second family room sub (hurry up with the reviews Gene :D).

It took a while because I'm way off the beaten path. Heck I'm 15-20 miles from a freeway and 50-100 miles from anybody with money. I'm guessing that U3 unemployment in my little town is near 20% with U6 closer to 25-30%. Most people here consider landing a job Starbuck's a really good gig, so believe me money is very tight here and finding someone with $400 for speakers is a bear. The couple that bought them dove at least 50 miles to pick them up.
