Boston Acoustics Micro90 sub (yes or no)

I have a chance to pick up a Boston Acoustics Micro90 sub (no surrounds) locally for $80. I have a large tile living room that this will go into. My speakers up front are 8" Yamaha bookshelfs, my center and surrounds are older model Bose speakers. My fear is that this sub with only an 8" driver will not give me the low bass that I am looking for.

Receiver is a Harmon Kardon with lots of power.

Does anyone have any experience with this or a related Boston unit?

For $80, it looks like you can't go wrong. You could probably sell it on e-bay for much more. Is it in good shape?
