Hi I’m new into home theatre ,
I have currently setup my Bose acoustimass 10 with 2 in ceiling Bose 791 for atmos to a Yamaha v685 receiver , i have ran the ypao calibration and noticed after going through the settings I have found a ypao setting to set as either Flat , natural ,front or through ? When I tried playing an atmos 4K mad max I found it sounds best when on through , should I leave it on through all the time because I read that the acoustimass module uses it’s own eq?
can someone please give me some insight .
Any thing would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advanced

Yes, leave on through. The acoustimass, not sure which version you have of the 10 series, are designed for a full range signal to be sent to the module as it handles the crossovers for the various channels. So, make sure the main channels are set to LARGE in the Yamaha if YPAO didn’t do it from the get go. I’d assign the ceiling speakers as OVERHEAD, not FRONT PRESENCE in the Yamaha. Set them to SMALL with a crossover of 100-110 and see how it sounds. Enjoy! Oh, and welcome to the forums.
