Bookshelf Center Axiom M2??

I'm looking for a bookshelf speaker that would work well as a center channel. I've got 7" of horizontal space to work with.

I'm thinking of getting a pair of Axiom M22s, and an on Wall M2 for the center channel. Does anyone have any experience with this speaker, would it work well?

I'm using the w22/2's for a LRC setup and very happy with the results. Due to placement issues below my display for a vertical speaker, I had to located it directly above and that location seemly provided me with better overall dispersion of dialogue...for both on & off axis at the listening window. AFAIK those 2 sets of speakers share commom drivers and freq response but the m2 onwalls only extend down to ~80hz whereas the M22's are good from 60-22Khz @ ~3dbs which could provide some issues or gaps?

I did notice that the M2 on wall does not go as low as the bookshelf M22, which is what I'm considering. I think I would set my system crossover at 80Hz. What I find interesting is the recommend Axiom center for these speakers the VP100 only goes down to 95Hz @3db. So I'd have an even worse gap issue with it.

I don't have space above my screen. It is projector that is recessed into the ceiling. It comes down in front of post in the room. There will only be a few inches between the top of the screen and the ceiling. It is a 106" screen.

I could probably squeeze the M22 on wall onto the bottom of the post. I might have to tweak the baseboard on the post to get it to fit. That would give me an almost exact match across all 3. The problem I see with that though is then the sound gets even lower below the screen. The M22 is crossed over at 3.5Kz so the majority of the voice frequency is being played by the mid-range drivers. The lower one of which would essentially be sitting on the floor. It seems like it would extend the sound way to low below the screen. Hence the thought of using an M2 since it would be more compact vertically and the sound would remain closer to the screen.
