You'll see it in the Wed. or Thurs. paper.

If you want the set, buy it tomorrow at Sears and you'll save even more. Here's why:

Sears will price match CC's price of $1299, plus refund you 110% of the difference.
If you use a Sears charge card, that qualifies you for an extra 10% off via an online rebate.
This guarantees the set will be in stock since you've place an order early. I confirmed this with Sears this evening that they will price match a 2 day sale, but
not the door buster sale items. Now I go back Saturday afternoon for a price adjustment and pick up the set.

Best deal going this weekend, other than the Samsung 5044 I picked up at the Sears VIP sale out the door for $970.
This sound like a great deal with the Sears price match...just curious, did you try it today and did it work? Do they allow you to take the TV home today and come back with the Circuit City Ad on Friday or Saturday for the price match? Is it better to do this in the store or on-line at Sears.com??
Thanks!

I will take the receipt in Saturday to have the price adjusted. I have no doubts they'll PM Circuit City. I could have taken home the set and brought in the receipt as late as 2/2/08! They've extended their price match to 60 days. See below:

Per their website:
Buy with Confidence! 60 Day Price Match on all High Definition Televisions
Effective Sunday 11/11/2007 through 2/2/08, the current 30 day price match policy will be extended to 60 days for High Definition TVs. Does not apply to SD (standard definition) or ED (enhanced definition) televisions.

After reading this article, "Your New Disposable Flat Panel HDTV" at the HDGuru's web site, I have decided it's not worth buying these low-priced LCD's.

In case you did not know, now you do...

An excellent point, and something that I keep in mind as I browse these deals. I wouldn't put the Sharp Aquos into that category, though.

Agreed regarding the Sharp. Nothing would upset me more than to buy a $800 42" TV, have it break in 13 months, and then have the manufacturer tell me they won't even fix it at your own expense.

Sharp is a top tier manufacturer and they make pretty nice LCDs. My wife's little brother has had one for over a year hooked up to his xbox 360 and it has been running great. And he is not known to take great care of electronics.

Very nice, did they call C.C. to see if they had the Sharp in stock? i was not as fortunate, when I showed them the ad Sears called C.C. and said they were soldout and would not honor the ad.

Did anyone else succeed or fail with Sears? Please let me know as I am currently waiting for a return call from their Corporate.

LOL, I was not about to read through 7 pages...
