Black artifact like bands/bar with HDMI cable
I recently purchased a Toshiba 26" CRT Widescreen HDTV (26HF85) and when running the Hellboy dvd (using a Sony DVP-NC85H) through the HDMI cable (Acoustic Research HDMI cable) I notice a light black bar across the screen ( mostly during dark colored scenes). Using SVIDEO I don't see the bar and I also didn't see the bar running the DVD on my PC's. Other DVD movies run fine through the HDMI cable.
Could this be a result of burn in? Is the HDMI cable actually the cause?
Is the DVD just a poor master with digital defects enhanced by the HD signal?
I got this TV for $200 so maybe now I know why it was so cheap. Still it's strange that I really only see this black bar when playing the Hellboy DVD.
Any opinions or suggestions would be most appreciated.
