If you absolutely can't do better (esthetically or via positioning speakers) and don't care about discrete surrounds it is certainly an option. I try to encourage more accurate and robust systems when possible.

I agree whole heartedly Clint. Just thought I'd make it known to those with somewhat limited budgets and/or room. Then again there is always the spousal aesthetics(spelling?)factor. I still would like to hear them and eventually give an honest review.
