Major snake-oil going on with that network box.. the Cobalts cost 7 times less and sound noticibaly better. Much better extension on top and bottom. Same deep/wide soundstage as the Transparents.
I've got a pretty "warm" system Quad 99 Preamp + Parasound A23 + Denon DVD-2200.. the cobalt does all the right things, just gets outta the way. Maybe in an overly bright system the transparents make sense.. but should you really be EQing your system with $800 speaker cables!?
