BMXTRIX Audioholic Warlord Jan 7, 2005 #4 I'm surprised no manufacturer has released a plasma or lcd setup that can be used as a video wall. They do it with DLP & LCD projection technology, but nothing with flat panel technology which maintains a consistent image far longer than projectors with bulbs in them. Just sandwich 9 EDTV plasmas together for a 1460x2550 ultra HD display with a ten foot diagonal.

C Cuteman Audioholic Intern Jan 10, 2005 #6 there are supposedly LED (not he stuff we're familar with) that cover entire walls, stuff that is super reactive, low latency, excellent resolution. I heard a wall of the stuff costs 1.25M not exactly commercially available.

R Ron Simpson Audiophyte Feb 3, 2005 #7 There is the Samsung 80 inch model HPR8072 plasma, with a planned availability of 2nd quarter of 2005 with an estimated retail price of around $40,000. Much cheaper would be the JVC 1080p rear projector that uses D-ILA (the JVC version of LCoS) technology. JVC announced their new model HD-70FH96 projector with a 70 inch picture (price not out yet) to be available in the fall of 2005. I would guess the price would be in the $10K area.
