The delimma that I am faced with is I am trying to find the best surrounds to match my current setup. I currently have the Bic 62clr-s center, with a BIC HT-100 Sub. Some surrounds that I have been looking at are The BIC DV-5 Black surrounds since they are still from the Venturi line, the BIC HT-63 surrounds or the Bic DV52si-b. I chose these speakers because they can all be wall mounted, as I do not have any room for rear speaker stands. (Has to be baby safe) I have been pondering through all of these choices for quite some time. Any info is appreciated

I would try to find some speaker stands that can handle the DV62si speakers. The 52s and the others in the venturi line (except the towers) aren't in the same league as the DV62s.

The 52's really aren't that much smaller than the 62's. The 62's use a larger woofer and tweeter, and thus sound much better. The issue with wall mounting these bookshelves, is the port is located in the rear. You need ample space for the speaker to "breath." Good stands shouldn't tip, and you can always bolt the bookshelves to the stands with a little TLC. Velcro works for those mechanically challenged. ;) If all else fails, the others are a satisfactory match for your system.

The DV5 that i was talking about looks like this one. Note: the soft dome Venturi tweeter that looks identical to the 62Clr-s Center. Here is the link.

Also the ports are in the front, what are your opinions and thanks for the quick reply's
Those may work on sidewalls, but not for rear surround or corner placement. I've got dipoles, and they should be placed on the side walls, about ear level, even with your seating position. You need to check the size of the dome. Some are 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and 1".

You are right, right now I have direct pole surrounds mounted directly to the sides of the listener. I realize that it should be bi-polar speakers mounted directly to the sides, but there is a large cabinet in the back corner of my Theatre so I am unable to properly mount anything in the back corners. That is why I have mounted the surrounds directly to the sides of the listeners. I have yet to hear a major difference between bi-polar and direct radiating speakers. I am running a 6.1 surround setup, so I will have one back surround speaker. I have the bic 62clr center and the bic h-100 sub followed by (don't laugh)
a 12" KLH RAVE sub followed by a pair of KLH towers T-5AW with dual 6 1/2's. Right now I am in the process of phasing out everything to either the BIC Venturi line or the BIC Acoustech line.

Atta boy, put those KLH's on the side of the road where they belong. Yea I used to have some KLH surrounds when I was in college and money was tight.

This is a great article by a guy about the BIC DV62 CLR-S. Compared both the standard and the Ed Frias modified crossover, and ended up using three of them across the front for his HT (stood them on their sides on stands for the L/R).

May not really apply to your situation but I could see using 5 of these for a 5.1 system.

I hope our 1 hour phone call has given you some direction :)
It was nice talking to you....

Anyhow, for starters here is a quick link for the Acoustech's...
This is just a post that Buckeye had put in for the 65. But its a great place to start looking. The HT-75's I have seen go for 150.00 plus shipping for the pair. The Center I have seen at about 90.00 to 105.00 shipped. And the surrounds I have seen at a super low 85.00 shipped (amazing price, don't expect to see it often) More like 125-179.

Anyhow, I have just stopped in at my condo, and figured I would type this quick. I will give more links, and post a little more when I get a chance.
Make sure you look in the deals section, also look in the sell your gear section. I had just sold the extra center I had for this set (brand new sealed) over in sell your gear for 100.00 shipped. I also have more stuff, but nothing you need....

Anyway here is a quick link to Buck's post.. However make sure you check the deal area...
