So ive been trying to find a new sub to replace my klipsch sub-10 that has had to broken cones now and decided on a front firing instead of a down-firing (change it up a bit) and found BIC subs for resonable prices and also great reviews for the price range. I am pretty sure i am going to go with the PL-200 as it has the best range of the ones i was looking at and the most power (the other main one being the VK-12). anyways my question is first does anyone have any experience with these or can confirm the rave reviews ive been hearing for under $300 subs and also i noticed that it does not have magnetic shielding... is this normal? i was thinking that basically all the other subs ive seen have magnetic shielding... am i wrong or should i be careful about putting it anywhere near my 46" samsung?
