I got a Bic F12 after many recommendations. But it's too BIG! Is there another sub of similiar quality (and price, paid just under $200) that is a little smaller? any help appreciated.

The F12 isn't even that big :/

Anyway, the Dayton SUB-120 is considerably smaller and cheaper. I dunno how it compares to the F12 in FR/SPL though.

I guess I should rephrase that. It's too big for it's intended space.... i.e. the wifey wants to hide it as much as possible and is *****ing already. I have no problem with it, but if I give a little on this I think I can squeeze a new receiver out of the deal.

If you room is small (about 10x12) you could go with Velodyne MicroVee, but in big room it's be just an expensive fart machine :D

Find a nice end table that matches your decor and fits over it and she won't even notice it.

The funny thing is, if you want a smaller sub, you typically end up paying more for it.
