Bi Wiring question...

Hi All

Currently I have my two main tower speakers and center channel bi wired.

I see that alot of people say it does not give any positive effects, but does it do any negative? Does it hurt to have it bi wired at all?

I am thinking of removing the second set of speaker cables that are being used to bi wire it... I am sick of the mass of wires running everywhere...

Will I notice a loss of quality at all?

Thanks,

Rob

Hey your answer begs the question "if biwiring does absolutely no good, nor bad, why do companies such as speaker manufacturers offer the feature to bi wire?

The speaker companies dont make money off you bi wiring the speaker, the cable company will...

I don't get it...

Sorry about the avatar. I did not say anything because it was no big deal to me. I loved when you said "can I play" on another thread with your new avatar. I was cracking up.

While biamping is a viable answer, I do believe that it's more of a selling point. Many people put biwiring capabilities at the top of their "must have" list when looking for speakers.

...not unlike cup holders in mini vans. Gotta have 'em.
