lol...out of boredom and to mess with you…I took most of this week and next week off and have no plans until noon today so I had to find something to do. I could mow the yard but where’s the fun in that?

I guess I am just trying to entertain myself and thought you would get a kick out of it. Don’t worry; the wire was only 4 inches long and termed at the speaker stand. It was only there for 3 minutes so I could take a picture.

Ummm…maybe I really do need to “get a life”.

Would you like to see a picture of my speaker with 5 WIRES coming out of it?
It has THREE speaker terminals because it's Tri-wirable--so that's 3 wires.
It has one LFE input----that's another wire.
It has one Power cord for the internal amp----that's another wire.

Or is there also a CA (Crazy Anonymous) meeting?

I'm serious. There are FIVE wires coming out of my Center speaker, FOUR wires coming out from my LEFT main speaker, and FOUR wires coming out from my Right main speaker.

I got 16 RCA cables going into my preamps.
I got another 11 RCA cables going into my amps & 11 speaker wires out.
Only 2 HDMI cables going into the TV.
I got a total of 20 power cords hooked in.

This isn't a lot, is it?

sweet! I've considered trying to bi-wire my DefTechs, but I don't think it would be worth it for what I have. I would love to see how you have all that wired up... I wish I could hear your system, I bet it sounds awesome.

Yeah, you and I both know how awesome the DefTech speakers are, but we need to be careful not to brag since Greg and gang will surely give us a hard time

The DefTechs are so good sounding that I don't know if bi-amping/tri-amping will significantly enhance the sound. It does look very cool, though.
