I saw her live, opening for Journey, and really fell in love with her. But I was very disappointed in the cd "I Leave the Light On." No way did the studio capture her energy andpersonality.

I'd like to see how the live DVD is.

I just ordered this DVD on the Newbury Comics website for $10. I'll be sure to post my thoughts here.

While I was at it, I included the Porcupine Tree Deadwing DVD-A for $15. I was tired of waiting for BB to get off their azz and stock it.

The CD is a mighty wonderfull thing, indeed. :D

Beth Hart - Live at Paradiso - DVD Concert.

My lord, this lady can sing!

Lots of soul drenched blues and torch song singing. I first found her on SNL (or the Tonight Show) a few years back and I thought she was an explosive talent, who was about to crash down on drugs and booze. But, she stated that she was 16 months sober, so I wish her well.

Think Janis Joplin - complete with the hippie talk.

She belts out some of the best songs (with her entire being) that I’ve heard since, well Janis.

Beautiful wide screen, almost HD video. DD 5.1 surround with her anchored in the center and lively but not obnoxious surrounds.

Her performance - is electric!!!!

When you see her hump on stage, you’ll know why this DVD has a “Parental Advisory - Explicit Content” warning.

She drips - Sexy. ;)

I watched this DVD over the weekend and enjoyed it. Not only is the picture quality outstanding the audio is very good as well. If you're a big fan of Beth's it's probably worth purchasing.
