So moving and leaving my current 7.2 theater set up for new owners. I am not an audiophile.
Looking to set up new theater.
Wanting to add wide fronts and a wide rears and possibly ceiling Atmos (2 or 4) + 2 subs. Wondering how and what equipment I would need to pull this off?

Are they paying for your system?

The best way is to hire a good A/V designer and installation company. This question shouldn't start from what type of system 5.1 or 11.9 you want, but what the space you have can best accommodate.

It is included with the sale of the house.
Are you building, or moving in and making some changes that include opening ceilings? Are you considering Atmos speakers that aren't mounted in the ceiling?

House is built. Pretty sure I have attic access to the bonus room above the garage where I will be putting the theater. So Atmos would be in the ceiling.
