Best way to listen to music

I've never had HSU, but they get a lot of love here. I think 2 of those should be plenty for your room. Just remember, if you play music in Direct, you'll bypass the subs. Your only bass will come from the Aperions... and you may be less than satisfied... even at higher volumes. The Grands just can't go low enough.

LOL...and my only experience with Hsu is the subwoofer amp that my son had bought for his pickup truck. I remarked that I'd never heard the name before, he said they had a reputation for good amps at great prices. Blew it up in a matter of weeks, they wouldn't cover it. I'm sure things are different with home audio equipment.

That was a number of years ago and I gather that they were in & out of that market quickly.

Personally, I run my speakers full range and go for plain vanilla stereo which does send a signal to the subwoofer. But, whatever sounds best to you is right, at least for you.

Try six JTR Captivators or 6 large marty subs vented and this may do it for you. An Infinet Baffle sub array will also do it.
