Best way to hook up amp?

I am looking at the best ways to hook an amp up to my receiver. It doesn't have any preouts for the speakers and im wondering if there is and good way to hook any external amp up or just bite the bullet and get new receiver.

Unless you are skilled enough to get inside the receiver and install the preouts, then you will have to buy a new receiver or get a pre/pro

Get a new receiver and put your old one in a study and drive some speakers for background music
