Best way to connect sub between components?

Hello,

I just picked up a Bluesound 2i streamer and will be connecting it to a Emotiva Ta-100 integrated amp via optical/toss link.

If both components have subwoofer out, which component do I connect the sub to?

If I connect the subwoofer to the Bluesound streamer, will there be in mismatch in sound (as the speakers will be connected to the Emotiva Amp)?
