Best use for Bose Wave Radio I have ever seen

I was watching the Unit last night and I witnessed the best use of a Bose Wave Radio I have ever seen. While pretending to be a massage therapist at a resort in Mexico, our hero was confronted by the bad guys in a massage room. After giving and taking a few licks (it was 2 on 1), good guy was in need of a weapon and snatched the Wave Radio (in black) off the table and proceeded to beat bad dudes over the head until they were rendered unconscious. Epic.

My Mom has one, and it doesn't sound that bad for what it is.

That's the big point right there. Yes, it is a decent sounding table top clock radio, but for the price, I'd as soon kick it downfield than offer my hard earned money up for it. And something on sheer principle, Bose, just wouldn't sit well with me if I had it in my home.

I think we can come up with many better sounding units than the wave radio for what it costs.

Don't be so proud of this technoligical terror that Dr. Amar G. Bose has constructed. The Bose wave radio is insignificant next to the power of the force.

Give me a red chicklet and sign your name with it, and I promise I won't force choke you.

But, I personaly prefer the flexibility, build quality, and function of a system more like what is in my signature. There are systems like it that can function as alarm clocks, like the JVC micro systems (which are much sexier than the Bose Wave Crappio).

That's freaking weak. I bet the poor guy is home trying hard to justify how much he spent on his 3-2-1 system by saying it sounds superb too.

How 'bout as a doorstop...

Even the step up to the one Seth listed is the Cambridge SoundWorks i765, which has better functionality, performance and is still cheaper... -TD
