Just wondering if anyone has an Integra receiver or amp, and what speakers do you/would you recommend running with it?

Thanks, Bruser

Speakers typically go with human ears and not electronics. This is what I had learnt here and this is what I had experienced too. You need to find out what speakers sound you well.

I have an Integra DTC9.8 surround processor with Sherbourn amp driving Klipsch reference 82 series. Honestly, couldn't have asked for more.

Agree 100% Buy whatever speakers sound good to you. The only time electronics are a factor is if the speakers present an unusual load (very low impedance, for example), and then it is a matter of the amp havng sufficient power.

Correct.:)

Speakers dictate most of your sound. In the case that you do find a pair of speakers that have an unusual load, say 4 ohms nominal or lower, then use the preouts on your receiver to connect an amplifier that can handle the load.

(I am only assuming the Integra has preouts, some don't but most do)
