Poor wordsmithery on my part. KEW got it right. I'd say, the simplest wording would be, point the tweeter at your ear.
The pedantic would say, speakers with T/M or T/M/W vertical driver orientation have crossovers designed to produce intended FR when the MLP is within a few degrees of the tweeter's vertical plane and on or below its horizontal plane.
