What's the best sounding scene you've ever heard? You know, the one you play to demonstrate your sound system?

Right now, the best scene in my very limited DVD collection is the opening sequence in SW ROTS.

He's asking about one scene, not a bunch of movies....

I realy like the intro to the new batman movie. It's the only part of ANY film I crank to rediculous levels.

A recent thread is on the first page, that thread is not that recent....

That thread was for a bunch of clips. I know alot of good clips. This thread is for you favorite, as in 1.

You shouldn't take everything to heart in here. I know it may seem harsh when you read it, but it's not meant to hurt  just trying to help this thread out.

The problem with that Sheep, is after rereading the fellows question. I would say that thread has answered his question. Very few people will have just one favorite scene to demonstrate. And will usually demonstrate a few scenes. I know, when I demonstrate, I certainly use more than 2 minutes.
If I were going to pick only 1 scene I would say Terminator 3 chase scene.
But the problem with that as well, is the last time I demonstrated - I never even got to that scene. I did get around to Hero arrow scene, Hero blue room scene, Dave Mathews/Blue Man Group, Minority Report subsonic rifle scene, --- Hmm, Dave (majorloser) what others did I play for you?

Edit:: I do recall some music as well, Madonna Justify My Love - Falco, etc..

I actually found a better one then the Batman Begins intro....

Its the theatrical trailer's for Team America. There's 2 on the dvd in the special features. Full of bass, and some are funny aswell.

That's my new demo scene.

One of my favorites comes from the movie Seven, you can pick it up at walmart for $10 and it has 6.1 descrete. When Pitt and Freeman are at the door of Spacey's apartment and you see him walking down the hall and he starts shooting is amazing. Man of Fire has some good scenes in it and is one of my fav. movies. The crash scene in Collateral is also very good the glass flying across the ground sounds like it went right underneath you.

I would have to say that Tears of the Sun the scene where they enter the village and kill all the bad guys... I demo that scene to show what real hometheater is like because Im an the ARMY and so are all my friends so we all know exactly what M16a2's, and M4's and stuff really sound like so I get a kick out of the " It sounds just like the real thing!!" comments. I love it !!

I love Sin City - the whole movie sounds awesome to me BUT last night, I found a new one to my collection - it's in War of the Worlds, where the first machine thing comes out the ground, *shudder* it was awesome...
Oh, and I like the opening scene on Fast and the Furious...

Hero - The scene where the archers attack the caligraphy school. Great drums and surround with arrows flying all over.
Kill Bill Vol I - The fight scene between Beatrix and the asian school girl. Good surround when she spins the ball and chain.
Kill Bill Vol II - The buried alive scene.
The Abyss - Crane comes crashing down.
The Running Man - When they take the rocket sleds into the game.
Pearl Harbor - This ones long, real long - Japan attacks pearl harbor, from the planes flying over the island to the dogfight.
Aliens - Express elevator to hell. Troops drop into the planet.

Some others I like - Bank shootout in Heat. The T-Rex vs giant dinosaur fight scene in Jurassic Park III. Scene 4 in Master and Commander. Depth charges from Das Boot.

Are you kidding Sheep. If not, then I would say I have lost a lot of respect??????????

That thread was like 29 days old. Also that thread in a lot of responses, says exactly which scene.
Do I really need to even bother quoting that thread?????????

Once again are you serious??????

EDIT:: I mean the whole premises of that particular thread was starting on this.
"I figured I'd just put together a demo dvd and was wondering what movie clips you would put on a demo Surround sound dvd"

Obvious keyword(s) there is MOVIE CLIPS.

Did you read past post 1?????????

Hmm, are you drunk? Are you under 10 to think that thread is old?
I mean when I was 10, I thought stuff that was 1 year old - was old.
Now at my age, I think stuff that is my age is old. No offense to people older than me.

Dude, you've got issues!

This gets my vote too. I also like the depth charge scenes from U-571.
