Best racing movie for sound?

This might seem a little out there, but I'd recommend the Pixar movie "Cars." The race scene in the beginning rattles our windows when some of the cars fly by and the soundtrack is pretty fun, too.
That soundtrack was fantastic!! The racing audio was insane!!

I loved that movie too:)

PS......

2 HD-NASCAR races nearly every week is nice:cool:

Since I bought a HD-DVR this past january, I've never missed a nextel or bush race...LOL

It's nice too because you can trim the fat from the races and cut through the BS. By skipping through commercials and most of the caution laps, you can shorten races significantly.

The FOX audio is outstanding!! For me, they're the best by a longshot. ESPN is OK, but not great. Sometimes it's in 2-channel, but the surround effects usually come through fairly well.

The weak, flat, garbage audio for the indy-500 this past weekend was an absolute disgrace. The surround effects for that race were virtually non-existant. ABC should be ashamed of themselves.

Le Mans perhaps isn't quite as dramatic as some of the newer films, but it still sounds great and has a lot less of the dated storyline issues than Grand Prix.

I would also highly recommend (though they're not technically racing movies) the Victory by Design series.

I have the Ferrari DVD and the audio is just fantastic.
