Best Outdoor Speakers for under $200

The TIC ASP-60s (5" woofer, 1" tweeter), MSRP $100/pr

They sound great. I've been impressed with their Newton line of speakers, along with their outdoor speakers, especially when on sale.
They seem to have thinned out their speaker selection though; used to have three outdoor sizes.

I put two in-ceiling speakers in for my covered patio. Nothing fancy. They are from the now defunct Speaker Company and work great. If the speakers are well protected from the elements, you don't necessarily need the heavy duty outdoor speakers. My understanding is that the biggest difference between the indoor and outdoor speakers is the build of the box and not necessarily the woofer.

I just recently installed a pair of Polk Audio Atrium 60s on my patio/BBQ area and I would highly recommend them. I bought direct from the Polk Ebay store. The low end they provide really impressed me for an outdoor speaker. They really sound great. I ended up spending 175.00 shipped.

I installed these Theater Solutions outdoor speakers...really impressed with the over all sound, I have had them for a year. I didn't pay much for them, so that may be why I was so impressed...

anyways bought them here...life time warranty is what sold me.

TS525ODW is what I installed. We play them pretty loud because we have a pool and when the kids are playing in the pool it can get pretty loud.
