Best DIY subwoofer in 300-400 dollar range?

ah. makes sense. i kinda like their large footprint. theres something awesome about having a subwoofer that is close to your height ;)

(im probably going to go hug it when its done)
I thought you had to conserve on space because it is a dorm room...

true. However, i find that having a cylinder that is 1' 4" wide gives me much more space than a box which would be bigger. I do not wish to use it as a table, for unknown reasons. (it irks me i guess :rolleyes:)

i redesigned it so that its now tuned to 20.1 Hz. I just need to make sure that airspeed wont be affected too much (im using smaller ports.)
