Best Bookshelfs for under $200?

I've tried a bunch of computer speakers and still end up going back to my $50 Logitech X-230 2.1 setup.

As to computer speakers. Seriously I would just stick with computer speakers. It's hard to beat the value and sound quality of a good 2.1 computer speaker setup.

Klipsch used to make a fantastic 2.1 Ipod speaker system, but it's discontinued now. Their Promedia 2.1 model is also very good.

Well, I couldn't put them up against those Polks.

Also change antivirus to NOD32, that is the best out there.. hands down.

I hear it's Avira Antivir now.



As far as RAM, Vista works just fine on 2GB RAM but it knows how to use 4GB like nobodies business.

trojan viruses and worms today are just so smart that I usually just re-format my PC when the PC gets too slow. that's why I always separate data and OS on different hard drives.

If you have a lot of those viruses it's time to reformat and have a fresh install of XP...you'll be glad you did.

I am a fan of Kaspersky AV myself. But honestly XP can be a great OS if you lock it down at time of install. I don't even use AV or Spyware software on either of my desktops. There is a very good tutorial online on how to lock down XP at time of install I will try to find it.
