Best amp for PSB Image T6, maybe the HK 990?

I'm planning to spend $1300 on an amp.

I will be using it to power a pair of PSB Image T6 speakers.
These speakers need a minimum 4 Ohms

I will be using the system only to listen to music in stereo, mainly classical, new age and jazz.

I want to get high fidelity with some decent volume.

I was thinking of getting the HK 990.
Since I'm new into this, I wanted to know if there are other options that might be around the same price ($1300)and delivered a higher fidelity than the HK 990.

Also let me know if you think that the HK 990 is a good option for these speakers.
The room that I will be using it is around 25 ft x 10 ft.

Thanks for your help!

Can you actually get the 990 for $1300? The lowest price I've seen was $1600 and it was a used unit.

ww.htfr.com/p/394241/harman_kardon_hk990_150_watts_per_channel]HARMAN]HARMAN KARDON HK990 150 Watts Per Channel -

They have it at hardtofind. It's a store in UK and with the exchange rate it would be around 1,300

Or I was thinking also about getting the NAD - C-375BEE.

To be honest I don't know which one would be better, the NAD or the HK 990

I know that you will tell me to go out and listen to them, but I also wanted to get your opinion on it.

Thanks

Onkyo A-9070

I'm running the PSB T-6 speakers using a NAD T747 in a room around your size and listen to pretty similar music. The receiver drives the speakers just fine and is not as powerful as the HK 990. I don't know if the Onkyo A9070 is available yet but that's what I would get for a 2 channel rig: Onkyo | A-9070. It has high quality digital inputs which are great for computer based playback and what looks to be a good quality headphone amp: Onkyo | A-9070. It's rated at 140 watts at 4 ohms and weighs in at 40 lbs.

I don't have any experience with neither of those two but I've always liked HK and have had a few receiver/amps and really liked them.

Is the NAD cheaper? I don't think thge NAD would have any problem driving your 4 ohm speakers.
