What is it with people wanting an awsome system but only spending what I spend on my interconnects? Be realistic. You can't even get a good receiver for that much.

HTIB sets cost more than $300. And those are the ones at the bottom of the barrel.

don't be misled

guys i'm confident with my purchase the flunce speakers are the best you can get for the kind of money i had and only bought 5 speakers i'm still searching for a decent sub for less than $150. the reason fluance speakers are so cheap is because the manufacturers have cut many unneccesarey costs such as show room and ad money and most important of all you're not paying for the fancy name like all the other makers(rip-off).

Not to descredit you Tony but I would take a pair of Onix x-ls monitors any day of the week over 5 speakers in a fluance htib. I used to own the av-htb and they're not in the same league in sound reproduction compared to the x-ls from av123.com. Different strokes for different folks.;)

Tony, don't worry abort what the others are saying.

They make different speakers for different people.

Since you already bought 'em, I just hope you enjoy them.
