I just recently saw Beowulf in SD, and was somewhat disappointed. While the fight scenes were enjoyable and the deeeeeep bass further damaged my sub's voice coil, everything else about the movie just wasn't entertaining. All the melodrama that comes from this type of movie nearly put me to sleep. (Angelina's scenes woke me right up, though.
)
My roommate, on the other hand, found it thrilling and fun, so who can say? Worth a rental, at the least.
