Belkin PureAV AVU1500 questions

Hello, here is a question for the owners of this unit.

This unit has Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) that is supposed to keep the output of the unit within an acceptable range. There is an LCD indication in the front when AVR is actively engaged.

What are the high and low levels of voltage that trigger AVR? (This information is not in the owner's manual)

Most often my line input runs between 120 and 125, which doesn't trigger AVR. This seems reasonable (The APC H15's most narrow control range is 120 +/- 5% (114-126) and "normal" is +/- 10% (108-132)), but I wanted to know what levels trigger AVR in this unit. (I've only found one professional review of this unit, and this information was not provided--although it includes a picture of the incoming voltage of 122.3, and AVR is not triggered)

Thanks in advance for your help!

One more question--I've noticed that every UPS (APC, Belkin, etc) I own has a little hum that you can hear if you come up close to it. Is that normal for UPS units? Thanks!
