Here they're available for $75/pair: http://www.markertek.com/Audio-Equipment/Speakers/2-Way-Speakers/Behringer-USA/B2030P.xhtml

Shipping depends on where you live; it's $16 for me.

These and the Infinity Primus seem to be the standard cheap recommendations here. Of the two series, which is better? Anyone compared them? Anyone compared either to any PSB speakers?

I've been watching Craigslist for these. Right now I can't justify buying a bunch of different stuff to try, unless I can buy it used so I don't take a hit if I resell it. Unfortunately the 2031 versions seem to be much more popular. (Or maybe people sell them more because they're not as good!)

PS: They also have 2031P for $90+sh: http://www.markertek.com/Audio-Equipment/Speakers/Studio-Reference-Monitors/Behringer-USA/B2031P.xhtml?B2031P
and the 2030 actives for only $150+sh: http://www.markertek.com/Audio-Equipment/Speakers/Studio-Reference-Monitors/Behringer-USA/B2030A.xhtml?B2030A
The active version is known for amp failures, it seems.

The Primus speakers have better drivers, and more potential for heavy modification(s). However, the Behringers have better cabinets, better quality crossover parts, better internal acoustic dampening and better performance out of the box, compared to the bookshelf version Primus speakers.

Get the 2030p's they are fantastic speakers. 75 is a highway robbery for them.

If it makes you feel any better the shipping ate most of the last good deal. I was considering getting the last pair to go to 7.1 but after shipping I'd be paying almost as much as Amazon's 131$ (free SH). Which is still a good deal (esp if you use the free Prime trial + Amazon CC. I got my speakers with free 2 day and they arrived ~28 hours after I ordered them.)
