Prices are very fluid. Sometimes, as you see, if you wait too long to make a decision, the great sale prices mentioned here will evaporate like the morning dew.

So, while taking your time to decide is great for choosing gear, it may not always be to your advantage price-wise if you take too long.

It's going to be put in an extra bedroom. So the room is pretty small compared to a living room.

I'm really open to anything floorstanding or bookshelf. I want to expand to a full 5.1-7.1. In the next month or two, I'll have the extra funds to buy the remaining pieces.

I'm in the United States.

I just have an lg HTIB that I won. I really like the upgrade from the just tv speakers. And I want to upgrade to something really nice.
7.1 is useless IMO. Especially in a small room.

Yup. If you know what you want and are patient, then you will get a good price. If not patient, then you will pay for it. Or make your decision while prices are cheap.
