Bedroom Speakers

I will be getting some bookshelf speakers and a sub for bedroom system. I am planning on getting an av123 xsub. For the speakers I am thinking of the x ls speakers. I am also thinking of NHT, specificly the classic 3 but if I will be using the sub would it be just as well to use the AZ or classic 2? I will try to audition if I can find a dealer round here. Won't be purchasing for 4 months or so. Any thoughts?

After looking at prices NHT is out (don't want to spend that much wife would kill me!) so I will probably go with the x-ls but will keep looking. I might try and ebay some more mirage omnisat since I like them so much.

Onix X-ls speakers

The AV123 speakers have great build quality for <$200 a pair. If you don't mind black, pick up a pair on sale for $165. They will be comming out with a new model soon with upgraded tweeter and crossover for $300/pair and will offer an upgrade kit for existing owners.

Other budget options worth a look are Athena and BIC.

Don't rule out Aperion Audio. I had a pair of their 632 LR's, with 6 1/2" carbon Fiber woofer, and a 1" silk dome tweeter. Awesome speakers with either piano black or funiture grade cherry (Super nice finish). And they are made from 1" high density fiber board, not 3/4" or half inch medium density fiber board. Plus they give you a year to trade in and trade up. 30 day in home trial, free shipping both ways, whats there to lose from trying?

These are the bottom of the line, but their upgrade program is awesome. They also sell stands, mounts, and other accessories

Well, if you're willing to buy the Special Dark color, and move fast, you can get the NHT speakers at half price. Deal of the year if you ask me.
