Thanks for the advice guys. I have changed all the bass/treble settings for all speakers to 0 and it actually sounds pretty good. I am still completely confused as to why the digital settings from the receiver on all of the music settings sound bad to me and seem not to utilize all the speakers. Dolby Pro Logic II on the Music setting (movie mode) seems to have the best sound and uses all of the speakers.
