If I wante to power a couple of bass shakers with my 2 unused channels (running a 5.1 system now) of my 3805, how would I do that? Is there a way to set a crossover frequency or send the LFE signal thorugh those channels??

Any advice would be apprecaited.

You can simply cut the 6th and 7th channel eq trims on everything but the 63Hz and 125Hz. See page 27 in your Denon manual.

There is only 1 subwoofer output, which is your LFE, and is non powered.

You may be able to loop the subwoofer out to the EXT in "SW" for power, but it really won't take the place of a separate subwoofer plate amp. You only need a cheap small plate amp to drive those bass shakers. Here's one if the above experiment doesn't impress.

it wont work.. actually it will work, but not well.

you definately should get something like an old vintage amp, and split your sub channel,

or the bass plate amp listed above.

Thanks,
I have already split my LFE signal (both my mains have powered subs in them) and was looking for an alternative way to do it. Will look into getting a sub plate.
