Hi guys !
Just recently bought my first Home theater gear. But still need some help for a bass management.

This is the spec that i use :

1. Receiver : Yamaha RX-V459
2. Front speaker, Center speaker, Rear speaker and subwoofer : Fidelity FDH-575 (HCiB).

Front/Rear speaker specs :
Frequency Response : 50 Hz to 20 kHz
Power : 75 watts
Crossover frequencies : 2.5 kHz
Drivers : 4 inch, 2 way

Center speaker specs :

Frequency Response : 50 Hz to 20 kHz
Power : 75 watts
Crossover frequencies : 2.5 kHz
Drivers : Dual 4 inch, 2 way

Subwoofer specs :
Drivers : 8 inch subwoofer
Frequency response : 28 Hz to 150Hz
Power : 200 watts RMS
Subsonic filter : 18 dB per octave below 25 Hz
Crossover frequencies : Continuosly variable from 50 Hz to 150 Hz

And i setting like this :
Front/Rear/Center : Small
Subs : Subwoofer
Crossover : 100 Hz

Is that the correct setting or the best?
Any suggestion is wanted.
Thanks in advance.

A general rule of thumb is to set the xover to one octave above the low frequency response of the other speakers and given that the low frequency response of the other speakers is 50 Hz, a 100 Hz xover is a reasonable setting.

You could get away with using 80 Hz (THX recommendation) but you probably won't notice much difference, if any.
