Very nice room. Is that Days of the Blade? That has to be the most frustrating game ever.

omg!!

koei, you're my man!!! EXACTLY the kind of room I'm looking to build later on. SWEET modern look, everything's sleek. HTPC is the way to go. Built one lately. E6600, 2gb corsair, 7900GTX in an Antec P180 case (soundproofed tower). Hooked it up to my new 40" 1080p Sony LCD. Amazing in HD!

- How big's the room by the way?
- Are these HD sources? if so, where do you get them from to play on your computer?

Wait 'till I show the pictures to my gf. She's going to want me to get to work! She's as maniac as me when it comes to room styling and audio, without the spending part though $$$$$$. :( lol

The room is about 25ftx11ft. The HTPC is going through the receiver then to TV with HDMI and I download HDTV shows off the web to watch, mostly Japanese drama and variety shows. As for the game, it's Genji: Days of the Blade. I actually like it alot since I played the first one on PS2 and it was very fun. It's off the PS3, also via HDMI to receiver then TV. I also use it to watch Blu-ray movies. I was hoping to get Superman Returns on Blu-ray but couldn't find it anywhere. The picture of the scenes are off DVD only, and cleaned up a bit by the decoder of the HTPC.

PS: Isn't it good that your gf approves? ;) Usually it's the girlfriend/wife doing the complaining when it comes to spending $ on these things.

I rented Days of the Blade and while it looks amazing and is pretty fun to play, there are some parts that are just ridiculously hard or have some pointless task to achieve to get to the next area making it very frustrating. I'm glad I didn't buy that one.

Yeah... now the only thing that's missing is a HOUSE! lol I don't own one yet! Gives me some time to think about ideas though... We make decisions together for electronics and last week she was sad that I bought the television without her. She would've liked to be there. She wants to have her tits done too... What a great girlfriend I have! ;)

I know what you mean, but I am quite into this type of action games and such timesinks aren't really out of the norm. Some reviews said that the game was rushed for the PS3 release which I think I would have to agree. All that aside, it's still a very enjoyable play.

By far one of my favorite Theater rooms I have ever seen. This looks like some thing straight out of a ps3 commercial. Id kill to have that exact room in my house. Nice work.

The main reason was the price. My room isn't as big as to the point it would need a $1200 subwoofer. Also, I been checking around and based on reviews and owner responses, the SVS really gives you exceptional performance and moreover, the bang for the buck. And now that I have it hooked up to my system, I would have to agree.

How did you upholster the walls. I'm almost at that point and am looking for pointers.

Your room looks awesome.

Very nice set up. How do you like that sub, Im planning on getting one when I move and was wondering what someone who owns one has to say about it.

Thanks,
Sean

If you check on page 2 I mentioned how the panels are done. :)

The sub is very nice indeed, it's very powerful and yet responsive. I am pretty convinced it can bring down my house if I just turned up the volume on it. I've never heard lows on any sub until I bought this, and frankly, I love it.
