Bagass board

Hi.

I have a pair of bagass board enclosures out of which I can't get adequate bass if a subwoofer driver is installed, I do not have access to any other enclosures, so i'm stuck with these, and I want to use them with woofers and tweeters. Are they suitable for this? Or is bagass board a bad choice?

If they are not suitable as is, then what can I do to improve their performance?

(especially efficiency)

The biggest holes are 10 inches, and the smallest one at the top is 3 1/2 inches.

I'm referring specifically to the large brown enclosure to the right of the JVC one (the brown enclosure has a black grill to the right of it)

It looks as though the enclosure is of a ported design. It also appears as thought there is no actual port. That being the case, it is just a really leaky sealed box/or a improperly vented one.

What are the internal dimensions of the cabinet? Do you have any Thiele/Small parameters for the woofers you will be using in the enclosures? Properly venting the enclosures should alleviate much of the problem.
