Looking at beautiful Cayla, no one would have ever guessed that she had any issues at birth!

She looks 100% and even better than a lot of kids I know.

I have a friend who is going through a similar situation with his new born son who is currently on seizure meds. I told him about Cayla and I'm sure it gave him some hope.

Babies must have guardian angels or something because they sure can go through a lot.

Congratulations Zumbo - I just saw this thread today for the first time and admire your courage and strength throughout. When my son was born I got a call at work that we were having an emergency c-section. He wasn't due for another two weeks but during a routine checkup the doc found he had turned ***-backwards and the wife was too low on fluid for him to be turned. I rushed home and we were in the hospital about an hour later for the operation which went as well as could be expected. I will NEVER forget when the nurse brought him over from the operating table and he grabbed my little finger immediately. He's had me wrapped around his ever since. He's now six and the absolute joy of my life.

May your beautiful daughter Cayla continue to be the joy in yours and I mean that from the heart.

OK - now I gotta go find me a damn kleenex...
