There is a high-powered watergun to your face and a boxing glove to head.:D
no I won't buy a B&W desktop speaker for my computer. Bloody Hell man. Its too expensive and sitting in front of a computer is not my idea of enjoying music.

If they make enough on them, they'll be a "push line". If not, they'll find something else. If people think they're too expensive, they'll buy Klipsch or something else.

BTW, Klipsch, who told the people at Jamo that nothing would change, has fired everyone who hadn't already quit. They bought Jamo because Jamo already had worldwide distribution and it takes longer than Klipsch wanted to be able to sell world-wide (CE rating, etc).

Too bad. Maybe I've the last of the Jamo higher end speakers. Anyways, I'm love'n mine.

This hobby is all about personal preference, our rooms acoustics, etc. I absolutely loved my lower end B&W (684s) when I have a really old (forget the mode) H&K amp. Them it died and I got a modern amp and all the 684's were to bright for me. BUt, other people who I really respect love the B&W's. So, if it trips your trigger, then sit back and enjoy it.....

Best Regards,
Stan

Some fanboys just have to relax...it's not like Klipsch bought them out...at least not yet...:p. Hey...I don't know much about what happened with the Jamo products but I wouldn't buy anything from Energy now!

I wonder if this means Rotel, B&W's parent company, will soon be found on the shelves of BB as well?

This could all be good, as I won't have to deal with pretentious, intimidating high-end audio dealers anymore. But as with most things that go mass market, quality almost always inevitably suffers in some way.

We're already staring to see this with the B&W 600 series, whose previous generation was made in England, and is now made in China...

I'm still retaining one pair of the C809, C803, C607, C603 and the two center channels from those series. I'm selling all the duplicates I had for my other systems and trying the Vienna Acoustics Beethoven Concert Grand and Wharfedale Opus 3 v2 in my office.

They'll ( the Jamo speakers) still be in one or two of my systems for quite a while.

Ahhh yes, Klipsch......isnt that the speaker company that still strives to maintain a dealer network while others cherry pick on internet only?.....or maybe it is the company that recently whipped Axiom like a rented mule in in an unimpeachable head on competition......or maybe its the company that still makes their classic 50 year old speaker designs in Hope AK because they are still well respected...
